A mid-16th-century Ottoman mosque in Mangalem, whose name comes from the lead sheets that Ragusan craftsmen laid over its brick dome. It survived the atheist era as a cultural monument and today functions once again for the faithful after restoration by TIKA.

An early-fourteenth-century Byzantine church at the southern corner of the castle of Berat, linked to Andronikos Angelos Palaiologos as patron in a contested chronology (1302–26 according to the church article, 1327–28 according to the personal biography) during the Palaiologan Renaissance. It is distinguished by its opus mixtum masonry, columns reused from an earlier temple, and restored frescoes.
