Sintra, Portugal
Adega Regional de Colares

Portugal's oldest wine cooperative, founded in 1931 in the village of Colares near Sintra. Its cellars age the rare Ramisco reds grown in coastal sand, from ungrafted vines that survived the phylloxera plague that destroyed most of Europe's vineyards.
