Psaromachalas Quarter
The oldest neighbourhood of Nafplio, a cluster of small white houses and narrow stairways climbing the rock of Acronafplia. Settled by Greek fishermen and merchants since Byzantine times, its name means the fishmongers' quarter, and it kept a Greek life alive through Ottoman rule.
