Kolokotronis Park
A leafy public park dominated by a bronze equestrian statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis, the great general of the Greek War of Independence. Cast by Lazaros Sochos and unveiled in 1901, it was the first equestrian statue raised in the modern Greek state.
