Catholic Church of the Transfiguration
Nafplio's oldest church, the Frankoklisia, with Frankish Franciscan roots beneath the Acronauplia rock. Given to the Catholic community by King Otto in 1839 and reopened in 1840, it holds a monument to the Philhellenes who died for Greek independence.
