Op Rhoda Island brengt het Manialpaleis Ottomaanse, Andalusische, Perzische en rococostijlen samen in tuinen en paviljoens die tussen 1900 en 1929 werden gebouwd voor prins Mohammed Ali Tewfik, neef van koning Farouk; nu is het een rijk ingericht koninklijk museum.
