Mount Li

Mount Li rises northeast of Xi'an to 1,302 meters, woven through Chinese history and legend. Its springs feed the Huaqing Pool, its foot guards the First Emperor's tomb, and its slopes saw the 1936 Xi'an Incident. Temples and a cable car cover it today.
