Kaninë Castle
On a hill overlooking the Bay of Vlorë, Kaninë Castle preserves the layers of a fortress inhabited from Illyrian antiquity to the Ottoman era. It was held in turn by the Byzantines, the Normans, the Angevins and Albanian noble families.
