# Sacred Terrace and Stoa (Apollonia)

Two long colonnaded galleries, known as stoas, were built between the fourth and third centuries BC and surrounded the city's sacred area and public square. On this terrace stands the obelisk, a solitary memorial pillar re-erected on the old stones.
