Verona, Italy
Ponte Pietra

Verona's oldest bridge, a Roman crossing of the Adige dating from around 100 before the Common Era. Blending ancient stone and medieval brick arches, it was destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt with its own salvaged materials, linking the old city to the Roman theatre.
