Scuola Grande di San Marco

A Renaissance confraternity building rebuilt after a 1485 fire by Pietro Lombardo and Mauro Codussi. Its marble facade is famous for trompe-l'oeil perspective panels that fake depth on a flat wall. It now serves as the entrance to Venice's civic hospital.
