# Rialto Market

Venice, Italy

For nearly a thousand years the commercial heart of Venice, the Rialto market gathers a fish market and a produce market beside the Grand Canal. Once the center of the Republic's trade and early banking, it still trades fresh catch and vegetables each morning.
