Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas

Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas, Valencia

A 15th-century Gothic palace transformed in 1740 into an extravagant Rococo residence for the Marqués de Dos Aguas. Its alabaster doorway, carved in 1745 with two reclining river gods, is among the most theatrical facades in Valencia. It now houses the national ceramics museum.
