Europe's largest oceanarium, opened in 2003 within the City of Arts and Sciences. Designed by Félix Candela, it holds around 45,000 animals across recreated marine worlds, from Arctic seas to tropical reefs, with an underwater restaurant beneath a thin-shell concrete roof.
