Church of San Juan del Hospital

Valencia's oldest surviving church, founded by the Knights Hospitaller after King James the First took the city in 1238. Built in a Romanesque-to-Gothic transitional style, it holds the tomb of a Byzantine empress and was stripped back to its medieval stone in the 20th century.
