# St. Peter's Church

Utrecht, Netherlands

One of Utrecht's oldest churches, this Romanesque basilica was consecrated in 1048 by Bishop Bernold. Built of tuff stone with rare red sandstone columns, it formed the eastern point of the cross of collegiate churches around the cathedral and now serves a Walloon congregation.
