Haarzuilens Village
A village west of Utrecht rebuilt around 1900 by architect Pierre Cuypers when the old houses were cleared to make room for the gardens of De Haar Castle. Its red-and-white painted woodwork still echoes the colours of the Van Zuylen family who ordered the move.
