Utrecht, Netherlands
Double House

A single home for two families, designed in 1997 by the Dutch firm MVRDV beside Utrecht's Wilhelminapark. A zig-zag wall divides the 300 square metres unevenly, with floors that give and take space, making it a studied example of shared-house architecture.
