Jellaz Cemetery
Jellaz is the largest Muslim cemetery in Tunis, a vast hillside of tombs facing Mecca and dating to the thirteenth century. Many of Tunisia's leaders rest here, and in 1911 it sparked a deadly uprising against French colonial rule.
