Hammouda Pasha Mosque

The Hammouda Pasha Mosque, built in 1655 on Sidi Ben Arous street, was the second mosque in Tunis to follow the Ottoman Hanafi rite. Its slender octagonal minaret and marble ornament mark the arrival of Ottoman taste in the medina.
