Daikanyama

Daikanyama is an upscale, low-rise district in Shibuya, often called the Brooklyn of Tokyo. Anchored by architect Fumihiko Maki's Hillside Terrace, built in phases from 1967 to 1992, it gathers boutiques, cafes, and the landmark Daikanyama T-Site bookstore.
