# Parliament of Albania

Tirana, Albania

Begun in nineteen forty as the Fascist Insurance Institute by the Italian architect Giuseppe Paladini and completed in the Stalinist style in nineteen fifty-six by Anton Lufi, this building on Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard served as the headquarters of the Central Committee and housed Enver Hoxha's office. Today it houses the Presidency of the Assembly.
