Thessaloniki, Greece
Thessaloniki Railway Station

Greece's largest and busiest rail terminal, on Monastiriou Street west of the centre. Designed by Hans Kleinschmidt in a stripped modernist style and inaugurated in 1961, it sprawls across former Ottoman railway land and now anchors the metro's western terminus.
