Sydney, Australia
University of Sydney

Founded in 1850, the University of Sydney is Australia's oldest university. Its neo-Gothic sandstone Quadrangle, whose Great Hall and East Range were designed by Edmund Blacket, anchors a lively campus on the old Grose Farm at Camperdown; the Great Hall was ready in 1859, and construction of the rest of the Quadrangle continued until 1966.
