Sydney Conservatorium of Music
Built in 1817 to 1821 as the castellated stables for Government House, this Francis Greenway landmark near the Royal Botanic Garden became a music conservatorium in 1915. Now part of the University of Sydney, its battlemented towers crown one of the city's great music schools.
