Garrison Church, Sydney
Begun in 1840 in Millers Point, Holy Trinity was Australia's first military church, where imperial troops once paraded. Built of Argyle Cut sandstone in Gothic Revival style, it carries regimental colours and a celebrated chancel window, and educated a future prime minister.
