# Pan Gate

First built in 514 BCE and rebuilt in 1351, Pan Gate is China's only surviving intact combined land-and-water city gate. Twin gateways, ancient ramparts, and the nearby Ruiguang Pagoda mark Suzhou's southwest corner.
