# Thurston Gardens

Suva, Fiji

Created in the 1880s as the Suva Botanical Gardens and reorganised in 1913, this tropical garden was renamed in 1976 for Governor Sir John Bates Thurston. Palms, gingers, and water lilies surround a 1918 clock tower and the Fiji Museum.
