# Grand Pacific Hotel

Suva, Fiji

Opened in 1914 by the Union Steamship Company on reclaimed harbour land, this colonnaded landmark on Victoria Parade was built to feel like an ocean liner ashore. After decades of decline and closure, it reopened in 2014 as a restored five-star hotel.
