The monumental Neo-Renaissance seat of Strasbourg's university, built between 1879 and 1884 by Otto Warth and inaugurated by Kaiser Wilhelm the First. Its colonnaded grand hall and statue-lined facade anchor the imperial axis of the Neustadt district.
