# Friguia Park

Friguia Park, opened in 2000 near Bouficha between Tunis and Sousse, was Tunisia's first zoo. Spread over 36 hectares with an African theme, it is home to around 400 animals across 62 species, from lions and giraffes to flamingos and crocodiles.
