# Site of the First National Congress of the CCP

Shanghai, China

In a 1920s shikumen house at 76 Xingye Road, the Chinese Communist Party held its founding congress in July 1921. Once a noodle shop, the building reopened as a memorial museum in the 1950s and remains a major red-tourism site.
