# Peace Hotel (Sassoon House)

Completed in 1929 for Sir Victor Sassoon and designed by Palmer and Turner, this Art Deco landmark on the Bund once housed the storied Cathay Hotel. Crowned by a green pyramidal roof, it was renamed the Peace Hotel in 1956.
