Oriental Pearl Tower

A 468-meter broadcasting and observation tower in the financial district of Lujiazui, completed in 1994. Three rose-tinted spheres threaded onto soaring columns made it the first great landmark of the Pudong district and a defining symbol of modern Shanghai.
