Duolun Road

Duolun Road, Shanghai

Laid in 1911 as Darroch Road, this short L-shaped lane in Hongkou District was the heart of 1930s left-wing literary Shanghai, home to Lu Xun and Mao Dun. Restored in the late 1990s, it now lines up museums, cafes, and statues of its writers.
