Seville City Hall

Seville's town hall, begun in 1527 by architect Diego de Riaño. Its richly carved Plateresque east front faces Plaza de San Francisco, while a sober nineteenth-century Neoclassical façade opens onto Plaza Nueva. It remains the seat of the city council.
