# Alameda de Hércules

Seville, Spain

A long tree-lined public square created in 1574 on drained marshland, often called one of the oldest public promenades in Europe. Roman columns topped with Hercules and Julius Caesar stand at one end, and today it is the heart of Seville's bohemian nightlife.
