Fortifications and Terraces (Çuka e Ajtoit)
On the conical summit of the hill of Çuka e Ajtoit rise polygonal walls and defensive terraces built in the middle of the third century BC, with earlier traces from the Archaic period and later Byzantine reuse. These fortifications commanded the plain from Butrint to the valley of the river Kalamas.
