Roman Baths (Butrint)

The foundations of Butrint's Roman public baths, part of the civic quarter with the fountain of the nymphs and the forum, preserve heated rooms, traces of underfloor heating, and the outlines of walls. The remains look modest but are clearly visible, while the imperial baths rest beneath the city that once kept them alive.
