Housed in an 18th-century former convent founded by Josefa Lina de la Canal, this cloistered cultural center, known as Bellas Artes, has been an art school since 1938. Its courtyard holds an unfinished mural by David Alfaro Siqueiros dedicated to Ignacio Allende.
