Belgrano Railway Station
Salta's General Belgrano Railway station, a national historic monument since 2019, long served as departure point for the famed Train to the Clouds. From here the metre-gauge C-14 line climbs toward the La Polvorilla viaduct, 4,220 meters high, through zigzags and spirals.
