La Juderia (Jewish Quarter)
The old Jewish quarter in the eastern corner of the medieval town, once home to thousands of Sephardic Jews who spoke Ladino and called it Little Jerusalem. Nazi deportations in 1944 erased the community, leaving its synagogue, museum and memorials.
