Ibrahim Pasha Mosque

Built in 1540, soon after the Ottoman conquest, this is the oldest of the seven mosques in the walled city ; one of Rhodes's seven historical mosques operates daily and another during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha. A twelve-sided dome, a slender minaret and a courtyard fountain mark its quiet square.
