# Fort Saint Nicholas

Rhodes, Greece

Fort Saint Nicholas guards the entrance to Mandraki harbour from the tip of its mole. A round tower built by the Knights between 1464 and 1467, later ringed with a bastion, it carries a lighthouse renewed in 1863 and still working today.
