# San Miguel Arcángel Fountain

Puebla, Mexico

Built in 1777 by architect Juan Antonio de Santamaría, this Baroque fountain crowns Puebla's main square. Topped by a carved figure of the archangel Michael, the city's patron, it has anchored the Zócalo for more than two centuries.
