# Felgueiras Lighthouse

Porto, Portugal

A 10-metre hexagonal granite lighthouse of 1886, standing on a breakwater at the mouth of the Douro in Foz. Famous for the enormous waves that crash over it in storms, it was deactivated in 2009 and brought back into service in 2021.
