# Royal Tombs of Selca e Poshtme

Pogradec, Albania

Five monumental Illyrian tombs are carved directly into the rock above the Shkumbin valley, with facades that imitate the front of a temple. They form the necropolis of Pelion, an Illyrian royal residence from the fourth to the first century before Christ, about forty kilometers from Pogradec.
