# Sarasin Bridge

Phuket, Thailand

The first bridge to link Phuket with the mainland, opened in 1967 across the Pak Phra channel. Spanning 660 meters, it ended the island's isolation. Now a pedestrian promenade beside its modern successors, it is a favorite sunset viewpoint.
