# Pont Alexandre III

The most ornate bridge in Paris, built between 1896 and 1900 to celebrate the Franco-Russian Alliance and serve the Exposition Universelle. Its single low steel arch carries gilded statues, Art Nouveau lamps and cherubs across the Seine.
