Paris, France
Parc Monceau

An eighteenth-century folly garden created for Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Chartres, and reshaped under Haussmann in 1861. Its colonnade, pyramid and gilded gates make it the most elegant park of western Paris, painted by Monet and beloved by neighborhood families.
